Sometimes you might just want to relax and listen to your favourite music and do nothing else, and that is okay!

Here are some benefits of listening to music:

  1. By listening to your favourite music for 15 minutes, your body releases a chemical called dopamine, which makes you feel happy.
  2. Music can help improve sleep. Studies have shown that before you go to bed, listen to some relaxing or classical music and it can greatly improve your sleep.
  3. Music reduces depression, as it can be considered a natural antidepressant, due to the chemicals your body releases whilst listening, like dopamine.
  4. If you happen to drive, research has shown that if you listen to positive music whilst driving, it can influence your mood, which can make you a safer driver.
